My Next Camera?
Looking for a smaller, lighter alternative to the X-T4
I think I figured out what my next camera is going to be.
Fujifilm announced the new X100VI and there’s been a lot of buzz. The X100V became a huge hit with Instgrammers and has been impossible to get for months. The launch of its successor was long anticipated and it seems like people are pre-ordering in large numbers.
But not me.
I love the small form factor of the X100 series and I’m excited about the higher resolution sensor and IBIS found on the new model. I realized a while ago that the X-T4 is just a little bulky for me, but I’m not ready to give up lens interchangeability. The X-E4 is the best of both worlds, compact but with an X-mount.
My wish for 2024 is an X-E5 with a 40MP sensor. C’mon Fujifilm, make that announcement!
