Here are the highlights of the week of June 19 to June 25.

Happy to be part of the Andy Carolan Avatar Club, which rolled out this week thanks to Marco.
Downloaded and started using Text Shot, and handy little iOS app by Chris Hannah for capturing text in shareable images.

Since I’m going into the office about once a week these days I’m reminded that laptop keyboards are total garbage. In the interest of maintaining a tiny bit of sanity I picked up a clicky 60% mechanical keyboard with Gateron Optical Brown switches. It also does cool light shows and was only $16! My neighbors love the soothing tap-tap-tapping sounds that it makes too, so that’s an added bonus.
My wife and I started watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds this week and it’s far better than I imagined. The first season is available on Amazon Prime, but after that I might need to restart my Paramount+ subscription.
I brazenly stole more ideas from Apple Annie this week as I created my new webrings page.
I’ve worn a Stetson Airway Panama Hat for many years. It’s the best hat I’ve ever owned and it finally wore out and was beginning to fall apart. I ordered a replacement and it arrived this week. Very happy!
I occasionally hang out on a couple of Discord servers, but I’m not on there every single day. So I was surprised when I last logged in and was prompted to choose a new username that doesn’t have a bunch of random digits bolted on the end. Now I’m mihobu, just like (almost) everywhere else!
We wrapped up the week visiting friends and family in Michigan. We spent Saturday evening with old college friends, and on Sunday we helped my first cousin once removed celebrate his high school graduation. Another highlight was strolling along the shores of Lake Saint Clair.
